Carl's musical career began at age seven in Sedalia, MO as an accordionist and was playing local restaurants by age twelve.  Guided by veteran musicians into a jazz style similar to Chicago accordionist, Art Van Damme, he began to see wider possiblities and aspired to develop proficiency on piano, vibes, and flute.

While attending Central Missouri State University, he played vibes and piano with the jazz combo and lab band.  With his own group he entertained at Lake of the Ozarks resorts and around the Kansas City area.  After earning his Marketing Degree, Carl decided to travel solo for a year before conceding to the business world.

That “year” stretched into twelve.  Carl traveled throughout the United States and Canada as a single, duo, or trio.

Working clubs, hotels, resorts, and events, Carl developed a remarkable versatility and ability to relate to any audience.  He entertained thousands of vacationers at resorts such as:  Wisconsin Dells, Door County, Lake Geneva, Brown’s Lake, Put-in-Bay Island, Branson, Lake of the Ozarks, Indiana Beach, Sioux Ste. Marie, Mackinac Island, New Orlean's French Quarter.

A two year stint with the "Gloria Glore Four" added a showbiz dimension to his resume.  Recording advertising jingles, CD projects and videos, rounds out Carl's musical background.

Carl sticks closer to home now and has been performing in and around Peoria, IL for over twenty years.  He enjoys the regular audiences that have developed as a result.
